THE MUTE DIARIES Entry 11: TIME!

WHAT TIME IS IT?!? Now that 2000-NOW has arrived ladies, I'd like to say happy new year!! Yes, it is still new, but not for long. But to see it like that is the same as saying 'shoulda woulda coulda'. Yes, worrying too much about the future will do the same as worrying about the past - stop you from living NOW!! When I find myself doing that, I ask myself, "What's the TIME??"





Ok, so we all like to reflect around now so for nostalgia sake, its still ok to peek over your shoulder for a look...

This time last year, I was sitting on my couch, getting over a deathly flu - I mean, this flu would get green-eye from Anthrax. A few days earlier, I had just done a NYE gig with Bugz In The Attic at the Clapham Grand. I was so worried about the show, as being the lead vocalist, I couldnt get through sound-check without coughing my lungs out. How would I do the show? It was a BAD look. And an even worse sound! But I had already decided, I was leaving my fears in 2007. And so we took the stage...



And didnt cough once. By the end of the gig, (my best Bugz one yet) I'd forgotten I was ill....

After doors closed, I discovered we were locked out of my car, had to get a bus back to my friends to get a spare key to my house. Not an over-priced cab in sight so we walked back up the long cold road, with only post-show adrenalin for warmth.

So 08 started with one of many challenges I rose to. But it also made me sick with excitement at times. Here's a lil picture story of 2008...

Erm...

WOW!! - I mean, so far. I got too many more pics to post so I just picked a few but that's enough. Kinda makes the crazy bits in between in '08 a lil easier to handle (and makes me SO glad I quit that old job...) And these long posts wont be forever... just getting warmed up so time is short.

Towards the end of the year (and even the beginning of this year) some of my closest peoples have lost some of their closest peoples. This post is dedicated to them. Nothing lasts forever, thats why you gotta just live for today and dont hurt anyone if you can avoid it! (but yes, that also means yourself).

Knowing that, I dont need to look at my clock to know that the time is NOW!!
