SEWUESE at BRITISH INDEPENDENT FILM AWARDS!!!!

I am honored that I have been given exclusive opportunity to have my music distributed at this years British Independent Film Awards.



This credible and prestigious award ceremony is one of the most anticipated dates in the film industry's calendar! So I'm looking forward to going along on Sunday to unleash my music on the unsuspecting attendees that are the UK's movie elite.



I have recorded 3 acoustic tracks - and have included a Sewuese favourite. It's called Silence and the songs are soon to be posted up on a page and a stage near you (see myspace for live shows and PAs).

So... I guess this is despite Ace the Mute being caught in the devil's claw (which you will read in my next blog entry), I have been blessed under the angel's wing (which you will also read in my next blog entry). You lot would not BEE LEAVE!! Since its thanks giving, I'm thankful I'm alive and for this fabulous opportunity.

THE MUTE DIARIES Entry 9: YES WE DID!!

Wow kids. Last night, we witnessed a new chapter in history.



Of all my reservations, which I mostly kept quiet in the lead up to the US Presidential election, I look back at the history of people and gaze in amazement the journey thus far, and the corner (for WHATEVER reason) that has just been turned. I'm truly inspired again. Thankful for the people that fought before us. Every time it seemed they had lost, today was finally a win.

Not just for black people, but for people full stop.

Congratulations America.

I felt so compelled that I had to unleash one of the gems I've been sitting on til my album's ready. But I'm just so glad that people seemed to feel the same inspiration I feel much of the time - hope and joy mostly - I just had to share it.
